Founded in 2016 in San Diego, Plant Power Fast Food aims to create “The Future of Fast Food” by providing sustainable and cruelty-free plant-based options. With plans to open 15 locations by the end of 2022, the chain is expanding rapidly and has opened its ninth restaurant at UCSD. The new location offers indoor and outdoor dining, mobile ordering, and delivery through third-party apps, catering to the needs of the environmentally-conscious and health-conscious Generation Z college students.
