Planted Foods AG, a Swiss food tech company, will be showcasing their plant-based whole muscle steak, called planted.steak, at SIAL Paris. The steak, which is already available in European restaurants, is now also being sold in retail outlets in Switzerland and Germany. The company is planning to launch the steak in French retail and food service in the next few weeks, expanding its reach even further.

Planted.steak is made with natural ingredients, without any additives, and is known for its umami flavor, juiciness, and tenderness. The company highlights the environmental benefits of their product, stating that it produces 97% less CO2e emissions compared to traditional beef production. Planted will be demonstrating various recipes and applications of their meat alternatives at SIAL Paris, showcasing the versatility of their products to attendees in the food industry.
