Plants On Wheels to Give Away Free Vegan Hot Dogs in Front of Nathan’s Famous This Weekend

Plants On Wheels, a vegan non-profit organization, will be giving away 200 free Impossible hot dogs outside Nathan’s Famous on Coney Island on August 18. This event is in response to the ban on competitive eater Joey Chestnut for signing a contract with Impossible Foods, a leading plant-based meat alternative brand. Plants On Wheels aims to introduce Nathan’s fans to delicious and sustainable plant-based alternatives in a friendly and flavorful way.

The organization will distribute the loaded hot dogs from 1 to 2pm, with accompanying signage and information to promote veganism.
