PLNT Burger’s 10th Location Opens in New York City

PLNT Burger, an all-vegan burger spot, has opened its first brick-and-mortar location in New York City’s Union Square. Founded by Chef Spike Mendelsohn and social entrepreneur Seth Goldman, the fast-casual restaurant offers plant-based comfort-food favorites like burgers, chili, shakes, and more. With nine existing locations inside Whole Foods Market stores across the Mid-Atlantic region, PLNT Burger plans to expand further in the New York Tri-State area.

The menu includes classic American-style items like the PLNT Burger and crispy chick’n sandwich, as well as side items like Bloomie Petals and Wavy Sweet Potato Fries. Most menu items are priced at $8.99 or less, making plant-based foods accessible to all New Yorkers. PLNT Burger encourages customers to “eat the change they want to see” and is a participating restaurant in the More Than a Meal program, providing meals to food-insecure individuals. The new location is open for limited dine-in seating, takeout, and delivery, offering options for anyone craving sustainable, planet-friendly fare in the heart of New York City.
