Pokeworks Expands Partnership with Impact Food, Bringing Plant-Based Tuna to San Francisco and New York

Impact Food and Pokeworks have expanded their partnership to bring plant-based tuna to San Francisco and New York. The plant-based tuna, made from a blend of pea protein and seaweed, aims to offer a sustainable alternative to traditional tuna while maintaining the taste and texture of sushi-grade bluefin tuna. The expansion follows a successful limited partnership in Irvine, California, and will include all Pokeworks locations in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City.

The partnership reflects a growing demand for plant-based options, with consumers increasingly seeking delicious, nutritious, and environmentally friendly alternatives to conventional seafood. Free samples of the plant-based tuna will be available at select Pokeworks locations, with custom poke bowls featuring the plant-based tuna also offered for catering services.
