ProFuse Technology Launches Pioneering Bovine Cell Line for Cultivated Beef

ProFuse Technology has introduced a new bovine cell line, named PROFUSE-B8, for cultivating beef without the use of genetic modification technology. This cell line has undergone extensive research and testing, resulting in a stable and robust foundation for developing scalable and repeatable muscle-growing processes. When combined with the PROFUSE-S1 muscle differentiation media supplement, the B8 cell line accelerates muscle tissue production, increasing efficiency in shorter times.

The Israeli biotech company, founded in 2021, specializes in muscle growth solutions for the cultivated meat and life science industries. In collaboration with other companies, ProFuse Technology has developed a scaffolding 3D growth technology that enhances muscle growth time fivefold, allowing for cultivated meat production within 48 hours. The company is also actively working on additional muscle production-optimized cell lines for chicken, pork, lamb, and fish, aiming to expand cultivated meat product offerings in the future.
