ProVeg Food Innovation Challenge Invites Chinese Students to Compete for $18,000 in Prizes

ProVeg is hosting its Food Innovation Challenge in China, inviting university students to present their innovative food ideas tailored to the country's changing tastes and nutritional needs. Leading companies such as Oatly, Beyond Meat, and others will be presenting practical challenges for students to solve. The competition will offer $18,000 in prizes, with a total of 32 winning teams and Mentor Awards for supporting professors.

The Challenge aims to bridge the gap between academic talent, research expertise, and industry leaders in China to accelerate sustainable food innovation. Through webinars, campus roadshows, and company visits, participants will deepen their understanding of plant-based innovation and potentially find career opportunities in the sustainable food industry. The deadline for submissions is March 20th, with the finals scheduled for mid-May.
