The ProVeg Incubator has launched a new three-month digital programme called "Fast-track to Impact" to support early-stage startups in the alternative protein industry. This initiative offers structured mentoring and business development support without requiring equity or participation fees. The program focuses on strategic business development and operational resilience, aiming to help startups navigate the complexities of the sector for long-term success. The Incubator, established in 2018, has supported over 80 startups and is now increasing its cohort size with this new format.

The programme is fully online and provides one-on-one mentoring on core business fundamentals such as financial modelling, go-to-market strategy, and investment readiness. Applicants must have a minimum viable product in the alternative protein category to be eligible for the programme, and selected startups will have the opportunity to pitch at The New Food Conference in Berlin. Co-founder Tobias Leenaert emphasized the importance of supporting founders in this space to create a sustainable food system that does not rely on animal protein.
