Quorn Foods has announced the appointment of Phil Thornborrow as President – US and Damian McLoughlin as Global Foodservice Director to support the company’s expansion in the US market and global foodservice division. Thornborrow, who previously served as Director of Global Foodservice at Quorn, brings over two decades of experience in retail and foodservice to his new role. He is expected to oversee operational expansion and cost management in the US market, particularly focusing on foodservice offerings. Thornborrow expressed excitement about the growth potential for Quorn in the US and emphasized the importance of collaboration with customers to drive the business forward.

McLoughlin, who joins Quorn from Flora Food Group, brings over 30 years of commercial experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry. His expertise in digital transformation and commercial initiatives will be crucial in unlocking incremental growth for QuornPro in the foodservice sector. Quorn Foods CEO David Flochel emphasized that these new leadership appointments will strengthen the company’s executive team and drive the business towards its mission of making nutritious and sustainable protein accessible to all. As a result of these changes, Lisa Travis will be stepping down from her role as the leader of Quorn’s US business.
