Redefine Meat Lands Tesco Listing for Award-Winning Burgers and Kofta Mix

Redefine Meat, a plant-based meat producer, has secured its second UK Big Four supermarket listing with Tesco, launching their Premium Burgers and Lamb Kofta Mix in 391 stores. This follows their first UK launch at Asda in October 2025. The products, which were part of the Asda range, have seen impressive year-on-year growth on Ocado, becoming the online retailer's second largest contributor to frozen vegetarian category growth.

The Tesco listing comes as the retailer reports a return to growth in the plant-based category, with a focus on whole foods and minimally processed ingredients driving sales. Redefine Meat's products, which have been recognized with Great Taste Awards, are praised for their exceptional taste and appeal across everyday meal occasions. Ben Gifford, Plant-based Buyer at Tesco, highlighted the brand's chef-developed range as a strong addition to their frozen offering, catering to changing shopper expectations for taste, quality, and versatility.
