Pinky Cole-Hayes, the mastermind behind Slutty Vegan and Bar Vegan, has acquired The Boujee Southerner in Atlanta, a Black-owned vegan restaurant that recently closed. The eatery will be transformed into the second Bar Vegan location, known for its unique cocktail bar experience. Tara Gilbert, the former owner of The Boujee Southerner and a long-time raw vegan, will now serve as Executive Chef at Bar Vegan Lawrenceville, marking a full-circle moment of inspiration and collaboration with Cole-Hayes.
