Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to Expand Plant-Based Menu Options in Thailand

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has partnered with the Lever Foundation to enhance plant-based dining options on its restaurant menus in Thailand, in alignment with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council certification. The collaboration aims to strengthen sustainability efforts at the Bangkok and Phuket properties through expanding plant-based menu offerings and promoting conscious culinary choices. Lever Foundation will provide expertise and guidance to support the hotels in sourcing sustainable ingredients and implementing plant-based education and training programs for their teams.

The move comes as the hotel industry is increasingly recognizing the importance of plant-based options to meet evolving consumer preferences and sustainability goals. Several other hotel groups, including Accor and IHG Hotels & Resorts, have also committed to increasing plant-based menu offerings in various regions around the world. Rosewood’s initiative underscores a growing trend in the hospitality sector towards more environmentally responsible and health-conscious dining choices to cater to the shifting demands of guests and contribute to a more sustainable food system.
