San Diego’s Veg’n Out Moves Into Mission Square Market

San Diego’s Veg’n Out is moving back to Mission Square Market in Grantville, where they will merge with the existing vegan deli under a new name. Mission Square Market, owned by Sunny Bhanage, offers 100% vegan options including gluten-free, soy-free, and nut-free choices. The menu features popular brands like Gardein and JUST Egg, as well as a variety of beverages and deli sandwiches.

Veg’n Out, founded by Chef Grant Plummer in 2018, initially operated at farmers markets, breweries, and Mission Square Market before temporarily moving to Grossmont Center. Now, the chef is excited to return to his roots at Mission Square Market and collaborate with Sunny on creating a menu that combines both of their offerings. Customers can expect to see familiar items like Sunny’s Philly Cheese and Veg’n Out’s signature sandwiches with whole-food ingredients on the new menu.
