Sanygran Absorbs Nutrition & Santé Iberia’s Vegan Line, Adding 60 Staff and a Barcelona Factory

Spanish plant-based food manufacturer Alimentos Sanygran has acquired the BIO and vegan business of Nutrition & Santé Iberia, gaining a factory, brand assets, and a team of 60 employees. The deal includes the Castellterçol production site in Barcelona province, the Natursoy brand known for organic tofu and seitan, and the distribution network for third-party brands within Spain’s specialist BIO retail channel.

The addition of Natursoy’s team of 60 employees expands Sanygran’s operations in ingredient development, finished-product manufacturing, and marketing. With a shareholding relationship with Grupo APEX, Sanygran continues to consolidate its position in the plant protein sector and diversify into plant-based food, extending into the BIO retail distribution network and gaining a manufacturing footprint in Catalonia.
