Sciences Po Toulouse and the Purpan School of Engineering have joined forces to create a dual degree program that combines political science and agricultural engineering. This unique program aims to train professionals who can address the challenges of the agroecological transition, combining technical expertise with an understanding of public policy management in the agricultural and agri-food sectors. Graduates will be equipped to work in various roles, such as designing and implementing agricultural and environmental policies in public institutions or collaborating with international organizations on issues related to food security and the ecological transition.

The new course will offer students a deep understanding of both the technical and economic realities of agriculture, while providing them with the skills needed to anticipate and implement regulatory changes. Through this program, Sciences Po Toulouse and Purpan hope to meet the growing demand for experts who can lead projects at the interface between agriculture and institutions, both in France and internationally. The dual degree program will start in the autumn of the following year, with five students from each institution benefiting from the program each year.
