Green Bioactives, a Scottish biotechnology company, has received a grant of up to £1.1 million from Scottish Enterprise to support a research and development project focused on scaling up the production of plant-derived bioactive ingredients using their proprietary Plant Cell Culture Technology platform. This project aims to meet the growing demand for eco-friendly and ethically sourced ingredients, offering alternatives to those sourced from wild-harvesting or synthetic processes.

The funding from Scottish Enterprise is part of ongoing support for Green Bioactives, reflecting their progress in expanding research and development efforts and manufacturing capabilities.
