Danone's Silk brand is expanding its Silk Protein line with the introduction of a plant-based yogurt and ready-to-drink protein shakes in the US market this summer. The Silk Protein Yogurt comes in various flavors and sizes, with the 24oz vanilla tub offering 13g of complete plant protein per serving. This yogurt is made entirely from soy protein and is unique in that 100% of the protein comes from a complete protein source, providing consumers with a nutritious option that also includes fiber, calcium, vitamins, and minerals.

The brand's new Silk Protein Shakes are the first in a shelf-stable ready-to-drink format, offering 30g of complete soy protein per 11.15 fl oz bottle. These shakes come in vanilla and chocolate flavors in a four-count Tetra Pack and have no artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners. Both the yogurt and shakes will be available in US retail stores starting in late June for the yogurt and July for the shakes, providing consumers with more convenient and nutritious plant-based options in the protein category.
