Renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist Pinky Cole Hayes gifted Savannah State University's class of 2024 with an $8.75 million "Entrepreneurial Starter Pack," providing graduates with essential resources for their entrepreneurial endeavors. The pack includes educational materials, one-on-one mentoring, small business training, and free access to Shopify, all aimed at empowering the graduates to kickstart their entrepreneurial dreams. This initiative, in collaboration with Operation HOPE and One Million Black Businesses, seeks to launch, grow, and scale one million Black-owned businesses by 2030, fostering economic empowerment and generational wealth creation within the Black community.
