The development in these markets will be handled by Soul Republic Hospitality Group, a franchise operator with a history of success in the state, led by Akin Affrica. The first restaurants are expected to open in fall 2026, with more details on individual site locations to come as construction progresses.

Founder Pinky Cole Hayes restructured the business in early 2025 and regained control through a new entity, leading to a focus on franchising as a way to drive growth. With startup costs ranging from $555,900 to $1.16 million, the franchise model has become the company's path to expansion. Cole Hayes expressed excitement about entering the Ohio market, emphasizing the brand's commitment to creating opportunities and proving that plant-based dining can be vibrant and delicious in new markets like Columbus and Cleveland.
