Spain’s Pink Albatross Opens Funding Round, Aiming to Raise Over €1M

Madrid-based plant-based ice cream company, Pink Albatross, has launched a funding round aiming to raise between 1 and 1.5 million euros. The company plans to use the funds to expand its product portfolio, increase brand awareness and distribution through new marketing and sales activities, recruit more personnel to support its growth, and maintain working capital.

Having already raised three rounds of investment in the past four years, Pink Albatross has seen significant growth in sales and distribution, with sales outlets exceeding 2,000 in countries such as Spain, Germany, and Portugal. The company's vegan ice creams, free of animal milk, additives, and preservatives, are available in well-known retailers and have gained recognition through awards such as the Carrefour Plant-Based Contest and the Great Taste Awards. With a strong presence at events and a growing customer base, Pink Albatross remains committed to further expanding within the ice cream market.
