Spork Foods Vegan Sister Duo Opens Vegan Restaurant in Culver City

Heather Bell and Jenny Engel, the iconic vegan sister duo behind Spork Foods, are opening a vegan restaurant called Hey Sunshine Kitchen in Culver City. With 23 years of experience in the vegan industry, Bell and Engel have been teaching vegan cooking classes, hosting cooking demonstrations, and publishing vegan cookbooks. The restaurant will offer a menu of colorful salads, sandwiches, warm bowls, tacos, and desserts, all 100% vegan and non-GMO.

Hey Sunshine Kitchen aims to promote sustainability by partnering with Friends of Ballona Wetlands to showcase pollinator-friendly plants on their patio. The restaurant will also give a complimentary plant with the purchase of any entrée, inviting the community to participate in their efforts. Located at 3863 Overland Ave., Culver City, CA 90232, Hey Sunshine Kitchen is set to open this July, offering a variety of delicious, plant-based dishes in a vibrant and eco-friendly setting.
