Sproud Launches Low-Sugar Matcha Pea Milk in the UK

Sproud, a Swedish producer of pea-based milk alternatives, has introduced its matcha pea milk to the UK market. This low-sugar and high-protein milk alternative can be served hot or cold and is foamable. The product includes ingredients such as pea protein, matcha tea powder, spirulina, and is fortified with vitamins like riboflavin and B12.

The launch of Sproud Matcha comes at a time when matcha is growing in popularity, with the UK market expected to reach $98.3 million by 2030. Backed by investor Maya Jama and recently achieving B Corp certification, Sproud aims to provide healthy plant-based alternatives. The product is now available for purchase on the Sproud website and is also stocked at select Sainsbury's stores in the UK.
