UK brand Squeaky Bean has released two new plant-based pies featuring fermented vegetables. The Squeaky Bean Braised Veggie Pie and Spanish Chorizo Style Pie offer bold flavors and gut-friendly ingredients. Described as the "perfect autumnal comfort food", the pies are convenient to prepare by heating in the oven and serving with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.

These pies are the first of their kind, showcasing vegetables at the forefront and offering familiar meaty textures. The fermentation process adds a rich umami depth and a subtle zing to the fillings. The new pies will be available at Tesco starting on October 6, joining Squeaky Bean's extensive range of plant-based products such as Cooking Chorizo Style Sausage, Tuna Style Flakes, and Salmon Style Flakes.
