Standing Ovation and Tetra Pak Partner to Scale Alternative Dairy Proteins

Standing Ovation and Tetra Pak have partnered to enhance the industrial production of alternative caseins through precision fermentation. The collaboration aims to optimize protein separation and purification processes, with Tetra Pak providing specialized equipment and support for pilot and industrial production units. Standing Ovation's flagship product, Advanced Casein®, a sustainable alternative to animal-based dairy proteins, is set to launch in the United States by 2026.

The partnership with Tetra Pak will help Standing Ovation scale its operations and accelerate time-to-market for its fermented casein. By leveraging Tetra Pak's expertise in food processing systems, Standing Ovation aims to create scalable and sustainable solutions for producing alternative dairy proteins on an industrial scale. Tetra Pak's support will focus on optimizing downstream processing techniques critical for protein separation and purification in fermentation-based production methods.
