Standing Ovation’s Sébastien Louvion Renewed as President of Food Fermentation Europe

Sébastien Louvion has been re-elected as President of Food Fermentation Europe (FFE), representing the fermentation-enabled food and ingredients sector in Europe. With an extensive background in food law and regulatory affairs, Louvion is committed to pushing for clearer and more innovation-friendly regulatory frameworks for fermentation technologies in Europe, focusing on Novel Food approval processes and dialogue with EU institutions. FFE, founded in 2023 by five precision fermentation companies, has grown to include a diverse range of members, including Standing Ovation, Vivici, Bon Vivant, and MicroHarvest.
