Starbucks India has partnered with SuperYou, an Indian company producing biofermented yeast protein, to offer a new Protein Cold Foam. This foam can be added to certain cold beverages to provide 11 to 18 grams of protein, depending on cup size, and is available in chocolate, banana, and vanilla flavours. The limited-edition menu includes options such as Cold Brew with Chocolate Protein Cold Foam, Caramel Frappuccino® with Banana Protein Cold Foam, and Iced Latte with Vanilla Protein Cold Foam, as well as the ability to customize other cold beverages by adding the foam, with zero-sugar variants also available.

The collaboration between Starbucks and SuperYou took six months to develop, with extensive product discussions, research and development, and negotiations. SuperYou co-founder Nikunj Biyani expressed pride in the partnership, stating that when brand collaborations are built around a product, purpose, and idea, magic can happen. The new protein foam is now available at all 500 Starbucks stores across India, offering consumers a convenient way to enhance their coffee rituals with added protein.
