Steakholder Foods Debuts Plant-Based White Fish and Salmon Products in Israel

Steakholder Foods has launched its first plant-based white-fish kebabs and salmon patties in Israel under the Green Future brand, marking the company's first full product cycle from premix supply to consumer sales. The products are now available at vegan specialty outlets across the country, following a successful pilot phase and commercial scale-up by manufacturing partner Bondor Foods. Founded in 2019, Steakholder focuses on alternative protein solutions using 3D-printing technology and is looking to integrate cultivated cells into future offerings.

In addition to the product launch, Steakholder has received a grant from the Singapore-Israel Industrial R&D Foundation and secured funding for expansion, including plans to enter the US market. CEO Arik Kaufman expressed excitement about the products hitting the market and the company's progress in providing compelling, scalable seafood alternatives for consumers through their B2B partnerships and innovative technologies.
