This recognition signifies the organization's success in promoting independent, verified, and understandable certification for cruelty-free products.

Consumers in Chile value label information, with a significant percentage indicating that they always or occasionally read labels before making purchasing decisions. The survey also identified health care, avoiding undesired ingredients, preventing deception, and environmental protection as key motivations for consumers to review labels. Te Protejo, a non-profit corporation active in Chile since 2012, leads the certification program for brands that are free from animal testing, boasting rigorous, transparent, and trustworthy processes that have made it one of the strictest labels worldwide in this area.
