The 15th Edition of the National Animal Rights Day was Celebrated in More than 160 Cities Around the Globe

The 15th edition of the National Animal Rights Day was celebrated on June 1st, 2025, in more than 160 locations worldwide, including major cities like London, Paris, and Los Angeles. Organized by Our Planet. Theirs Too, this annual event aims to give a voice to all animals and raise awareness for their rights. The day includes memorial services for the billions of animals exploited by humanity, educating the public about animal treatment, and celebrating progress in the vegan and animal rights movements.

One example of the celebrations took place in Bournemouth, where more than 100 activists participated in a memorial parade, carrying a photo of a nonhuman animal victim. The event included readings of the Universal Declaration of Animal Rights, live music performances, and vegan food stalls. These events bring the animal rights community together to mourn, celebrate, and empower each other to continue fighting for animal rights.
