The Butcher’s Daughter NYC Expands Into Larger Space

The Butcher’s Daughter, a popular vegan-friendly spot in Nolita, NYC, has recently expanded its space from a corner juicer bar to a sprawling full-service restaurant spanning half a block on Kenmare between Elizabeth & Bowery. The new space, now over 1,650 square feet, features a full cocktail bar, Woodstone pizza oven, and accordion doors that blend indoor and outdoor dining seamlessly. With a seating capacity for 85 guests indoors and an additional 80 seats on the sidewalk cafe, the expansion aims to create a welcoming all-day hangout for the neighborhood.

Curated by founder Heather Tierney and design firm Wanderlust, the space showcases the craftsmanship of women artisans worldwide, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. The new plant-based bodega and cafe offers a range of healthy delights, while Executive Chef Rae Kramer introduces tantalizing plant-forward menu items and collaborates with four powerhouse women to create signature dishes. The expanded space opened its doors to the public on May 1st, providing a place for community, connection, and delicious food for visitors to enjoy.
