The New Originals Company has acquired SoFine, a well-established tofu and soy food manufacturer based in the Netherlands. The acquisition includes the SoFine and ProLaterre brands and the production facility in Landgraaf. With this acquisition, The New Originals Company aims to expand its expertise in the tofu convenience category and strengthen its innovative capabilities with an extended product portfolio.

Matthias Krön, CEO of The New Originals Company, expressed excitement about the acquisition and the opportunity to work with the highly qualified employees from SoFine. The company plans to introduce new innovations such as sliced tofu, diced tofu, minced tofu, and tofu in water packs to further develop the category. By incorporating SoFine into its operations, The New Originals Company aims to provide consumers with convenient and healthy plant-based food options in various European markets, in addition to its existing brands and production sites in Germany, Slovakia, and Romania.
