Lulu Green, the only vegan business in the Time Out Market in Fenway, has decided to close its doors following a dispute with the new owner. Lulu Green's co-founder, Mary Lattouf, chose to stay true to their 100-percent vegan values and refused to serve dairy, leading to the decision to withdraw both Lulu Green and Cafe Lulu from the market.

Fans of Lulu Green expressed disappointment at the closure but commended the business for staying true to its values. Despite leaving the Fenway location, Lulu Green's original South Boston restaurant will remain open, and the business plans to open a new outpost in Cambridge later this year. The new location will feature a similar menu to the Time Out Market spot and offer a welcoming gathering space for the community to enjoy plant-based cuisine and a fun atmosphere.
