The Vegetarian Butcher Collective Consolidates Its Foodservice Operations at DFS

The Vegetarian Butcher Collective is reorganizing its foodservice operations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland by partnering with DFS Dewender Food Service GmbH & Co. KG starting August 1, 2026. This new agreement will involve order processing, warehousing, fulfilment, delivery, and invoicing for the company’s foodservice brands in the region being handled by DFS, as the Collective builds independent supply chain structures following its separation from Unilever and merger with Vivera. Existing business relationships will continue during the transition period.

With DFS's ReDistribution model, which consolidates warehousing, logistics, fulfilment, and invoicing for various brand partners, the company will be able to widen the availability of The Vegetarian Butcher products across the three markets and introduce more plant-based options to menus. As a ReDistribution specialist in Central Europe, DFS offers manufacturers and retailers a streamlined interface for ordering, delivery, and billing, enabling them to reduce operational complexity and improve market access and customer relationships.
