A new AI called Centaur has been developed in Germany with the ability to predict human decisions on classic psychology tasks with 64% accuracy. Trained on a dataset of human choices from over 60,000 participants in 160 experiments, Centaur acts as a stand-in for a person taking the experiment and can predict their next move based on given information and behavior.

Unlike previous AI models that were tailored to specific tasks, Centaur shows generality and outperforms other models in predicting human behavior across various situations.
