THIS Shifts from Meat Alternatives to Superfoods in New Product Line

UK-based plant-based food company THIS is shifting its focus from meat alternatives to whole-food protein products with the launch of its new Super Superfood product line. The range includes the Super Block and Marinated Pieces, both high in protein and made from fava bean protein, seeds, and vegetables. These products will be available in UK supermarkets starting April 28.

This move represents a new direction for THIS after years of focusing on hyper-realistic meat alternatives. The company's CEO, Mark Cuddigan, emphasizes that the Super Superfood range offers a nutritious, high-protein, and versatile option for consumers, whether they are meat-lovers, flexitarians, or fully plant-based. In addition to the initial products, THIS plans to release more offerings under the Super Superfood range in the future.
