This Week in Vegan News: Orlando’s Vegan Food Hall, New Vegan Ice Cream Flavors, and More

Orlando is getting a new vegan food hall, as Main House Market relocates to the Milk District after facing discrimination in their previous location. The new Main House Market will feature other vegan concepts such as The Kind Cleaver, Vegan Scoops Orlando, and Retro Roast. The food hall will continue to offer their homemade kombucha and host inclusive events, opening its doors on June 8.

In other vegan news, Oatly has released two new ice cream flavors, Banana Split and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, which are now available in retailers across the US. San Diego-based vegan ice cream brand Kula has also launched three new gluten-free ice cream sandwich flavors in 25 retail stores across Southern California. Additionally, the sustainable LGBTQIA+ brand TomboyX has released an inclusive line of period underwear, with expanded sizes and a plant-based, chemical-free design at an accessible price point of $20.
