In downtown Los Angeles, a high-end vegan afternoon tea service has been launched at Dahlia at the Downtown LA Proper Hotel, offering a variety of tea blends and vegan savory and sweet bites. Additionally, Break Free Candy has released mini versions of its popular vegan candy bars just in time for Halloween, and Japanese snack company Calbee has acquired the popular tofu brand Hodo, entering the US plant-based food market to meet the growing demand for sustainable foods.
