Three Chickens Safe at Sanctuary After Being Dumped with Trash
Farm Sanctuary • Oct 15, 2026
Three chickens were found dumped with trash in a parking lot and are now safe at a sanctuary. The chickens were abandoned in a sealed box with no food or water, but luckily were discovered by a passerby who brought them to the sanctuary for care. The chickens are being treated for dehydration and malnourishment, but are expected to make a full recovery in their new home.
The sanctuary staff suspect that the chickens were used for egg production and then discarded when they were no longer deemed useful. The sanctuary is now providing a safe and loving environment for the chickens to live out the rest of their days. The staff are grateful to the person who found the abandoned animals and brought them to safety, emphasizing the importance of responsible animal care and the consequences of irresponsibly disposing of animals.
