Tiba Tempeh Launches New Smoky Block As Distribution Expands

Tiba Tempeh, a rapidly growing plant-based brand, has introduced a new Smoky Tempeh Block infused with a flavorful marinade. The 220g product will be available on Ocado starting April 18, and in Waitrose and Sainsbury’s at the end of the month for £3.00. Alexandra Longton, the co-founder of Tiba Tempeh, expressed excitement for the new product and believes it will be well-received by consumers.

The launch of the Smoky Tempeh Block comes as Tiba Tempeh expands its retail distribution. Starting April 30, Waitrose will carry three of Tiba Tempeh’s products in over 200 stores. This growth aligns with the brand's impressive 736 percent year-on-year increase in retail sales value. The brand, the largest tempeh-only brand in the UK, attributes its success to the rising demand for minimally processed plant-based alternatives to traditional meat substitutes.
