TiNDLE’s Plant-Based Chicken Launches At Hundreds Of New US Stores

TiNDLE Foods has expanded its reach in the US by launching its plant-based chicken products in 500 new grocery stores, including Kroger-backed Fred Meyer, Ralphs, and Smith’s. This move marks the company's largest retail expansion in the country to date, bringing their total number of grocery stockists to over 1,300. The TiNDLE range now includes Boneless Wings, Nuggets, Tenders, and a Stuffed Chicken line in Parmigiana and Tikka Masala flavors, offering more than 10g of protein per serving.

According to TiNDLE CEO Timo Recker, the partnership with Kroger is a significant milestone for the company, allowing them to reach more customers while maintaining their commitment to providing the best-tasting, nutritious, and quality plant-based proteins. The alternative protein market is expected to grow in the coming years, with plant-based meat projected to double in value by 2030. Taste remains a driving factor for consumers, with plant-based chicken products consistently outperforming other meat-free options and traditional meat in blind taste tests.
