Tofoo & Co Launches Seitan Frankfurters and Bratwurst in UK Supermarkets

UK plant protein brand Tofoo & Co is launching organic seitan Frankfurters and Bratwurst, along with a Silken Tofu SKU, at major supermarkets Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and Waitrose. The new products, each with high protein content and organic certification, are part of the brand's expansion into the seitan market following its recent acquisition of Topas, a German seitan producer behind the Wheaty brand.

The launch of the new products marks the brand's tenth year of trading and reflects its commitment to providing natural plant-based protein options for consumers seeking alternatives to highly processed meat alternatives. CEO David Knibbs expressed excitement about the expansion of the Tofoo & Co range, which now includes tofu, tempeh, and seitan products, positioning the brand as a go-to choice for plant-based protein options in the UK and potentially in Germany as well.
