Travis Barker has joined Mr Charlie’s as an equity partner and brand ambassador. The fast-food chain, sometimes referred to as the “vegan McDonald’s,” offers vegan versions of popular fast-food staples and has sold 25 locations across the US since its launch in 2022. Barker described Mr Charlie’s as a movement, emphasizing its focus on food, culture, and community.

Mr Charlie’s celebrated the opening of a new restaurant in Brentwood, Los Angeles, by giving out free vegan cheeseburgers and fries. The brand also announced new franchising opportunities and has partnered with LA’s Dream Center to support unhoused and formerly incarcerated individuals. Along with Travis Barker, Mr Charlie’s is backed by Mike Tyson through his company Carma HoldCo, and aims to create a family-like environment where kindness and second chances are as important as the food.
