Univar Solutions and Ingredion to Bring Plant-Based and Clean-Label Products to Benelux Region Through Expanded Partnership

Univar Solutions Belgium has announced an expansion of its partnership with Ingredion to bring plant-based and clean-label products to the Benelux region starting October 1. This collaboration will include a variety of plant-based proteins, functional native starches, and stevia sweeteners developed by PureCircle by Ingredion to meet the increasing demand for healthier and more sustainable products in the market. The partnership between the two companies, which has spanned over 30 years, aims to provide innovative ingredients and solutions to food producers in 20 countries across the EMEA region.

Research conducted by Ingredion has highlighted the growing importance of clean-label products in the food industry, with European food manufacturers emphasizing the significance of incorporating clean-label foods into their portfolios. Consumers are actively seeking products made with recognizable ingredients, indicating a shift towards more transparent and natural products. By expanding their partnership, Ingredion and Univar Solutions aim to offer a wide range of solutions and better customer experiences through digital innovation to meet the evolving needs and preferences of consumers in the Benelux region.
