Valsoia, an Italian health food company, is launching KEF Valsoia, a plant-based drinkable kefir alternative that it claims is the first of its kind in Italy. The product uses live kefir cultures and yeasts cultivated through a plant-based process, resulting in a creamy and smooth drink available in plain, tropical mix, and blueberry flavors.

In addition to KEF Valsoia, the company is also introducing Valsoia Skyr Style, a plant-based skyr-style product with a thick texture, high protein content, low fat, and no added sugar. Skyr, a popular Icelandic dairy product, has been gaining interest in European markets for its high-protein and low-fat qualities. Valsoia aims to cater to the growing demand for conscious and functional dietary choices in Italy with these new innovations.
