Vegan Babybel Cheese Is Now Available at Whole Foods, Sam’s Club, Fresh Thyme, and Costco

Bel Brands USA has released a plant-based version of the classic Babybel cheese snack. The new Vegan Babybel Cheese, now available at Whole Foods, Sam’s Club, Fresh Thyme, and Costco, offers a good source of calcium and vitamin B12. The vegan cheese snack is designed to have the same taste, texture, and appearance as the original Mozzarella cheese wheels, with the added benefit of being coated in green wax to distinguish it from the dairy-based version.

Consumers can find Babybel Plant-Based in six-count bags at Whole Foods and Fresh Thyme, as well as 32-count bags at Sam’s Club and select Costco locations in the Southeast. Bel Brands USA plans to expand the availability of the plant-based cheese to more retailers in the near future. In addition to Vegan Babybel Cheese, Bel Brands USA is also launching other vegan products, including Boursin’s Garlic & Herbs Dairy-Free Cheese Spread Alternative and a vegan version of Laughing Cow cheese wedges set to debut in 2023.
