Vegan meal kit maker Allplants is facing closure and is working with insolvency advisors to find a solution to prevent shutting down. Co-founder Jonathan Petrides expressed his devastation on Instagram, stating that the company's kitchen is on the brink of closing down after a long fight for survival. Allplants filed a notice of intention to appoint an administrator, indicating that without securing a buyer or additional funding, the brand will be placed into administration.

Founded nearly a decade ago by brothers Jonathan and Alex Petrides, Allplants has raised a total of £67 million in funding since 2016, with the most recent fundraising round bringing in an additional £2 million. Despite their efforts to stay afloat, the company is currently offering a 30 percent discount for customers to place their final orders. Petrides thanked supporters for being a part of Allplants' journey and believing in their mission, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to cook for them.
