Vegan Fat Startup & Disney Team Up to Serve ‘Piggy Baos’ at Moana 2 World Premiere

At the Moana 2 world premiere, Californian food tech startup Lypid collaborated with Disney to introduce their new vegan pork baos named BBQ Pork Piggy Baos. These baos are made with innovative vegan pork fat and were served at the premiere in Hawai’i. The success of Moana 2 at the box office has garnered attention, with the film grossing $389M globally in its opening weekend.

Lypid's consumer brand, Lypid Kitchen, focuses on producing plant-based fats that mimic animal fats and coconut oil without compromising on taste or health.
