Vegan Food Truck Wins Scottish Street Food Award

Scotland-based vegan food truck, Planet G, won awards in two categories at the Scottish Street Food Awards and was crowned joint-champion with Knights Kitchen. The awards were judged by a panel, including Michelin-starred chef Conor Toomey. Planet G, run by couple Marta Negro and Gemma Costa, offers dishes such as haggis burgers and teriyaki noodles, all made from scratch with locally sourced ingredients. They recently won the Sustainable Stall Award and will compete to become national champion at the British Street Food Awards in September.
