Vegan Games Company Launches Vegan Dictionary

Vegan games company, This Is Not A Game, is launching a vegan dictionary to coincide with Veganuary 2025. Co-authored by Rory and Anwen Cockshaw, the dictionary aims to make veganism more accessible by explaining vegan terminology from various fields such as science, agriculture, health, and philosophy. The book, designed by vegan graphic designer Ákos Zsiga, covers topics like abolitionism, vitamin B12, and prominent figures in the vegan movement.

The idea for The Vegan Dictionary came from players of This Is Not A Game's card game, Plants Against Veganity, who struggled to understand the vegan-centric jokes and references. Rory Cockshaw, a language lover with over 200 foreign language dictionaries, saw the dictionary as a way to bridge the knowledge gap and help both newcomers and seasoned vegans better understand the vegan movement. Available for pre-order, the dictionary is set to be released in January, offering a comprehensive guide for anyone interested in exploring veganism.
