Price variations were noted across states, with some experiencing decreases while others saw increases in the cost of vegan products. Walmart's new private label, "bettergoods," introduced in 2024, offered premium vegan products with varying prices by state. Despite concerns of potential future trade tariffs impacting prices, Walmart continues to maintain its "everyday low prices" model, though there are differences in local wages that directly impact the affordability of vegan groceries in each state.
